Children at this age are ready to implement their thoughts into actions. They begin to strategize which enables them to distinguish between different situations and problems. Their ability to handle conflicts with themselves and peers becomes more enhanced. Their recognition of social cues improves and they become aware of their socially acceptable and appropriate behaviors.
